Who knows what this girl is doing! How do you uh..."politely" tell your unborn child TO STOP BEATING ME UP! ha ha ha. Dan even tried to have a chat with her but no luck. She is extra feisty the last couple days that if she does not settle down I am going to start kicking back!

Maternity Session

FINALLY! Dan and I took some time to take photos of me. It was a little chilly out but I was thrilled that there was no rain so we were able to get a few outdoor shots. My honey did a fantastic job and I am very thankful we were able to get motivated to take some photos. We have been meaning to for weeks now! I think Dan enjoyed the fact my hair was fixed AND I had makeup on! ha ha ha! Ill admit it all seems a bit pointless so I dont get "fixed up" too often :) But I made sure I was extra cute for him today so he would feel inspired! I know some of these show a bit more skin so I hope you will forgive me. But as artists its important to share the beauty. Besides I make sure MY clients will let me post whatever I want so its only fair Dan gets to pick his faves to post! I hope you guys enjoy...And to my Honey...THANK YOU! You are the best :)

"Princess Lily"

Or is it "Princess Fiona? I am trying to find a non-cheesy bassinet for our bedroom for Miss Lily without a whole lot of luck. I might just be super picky (I know...sorry) but come on why is this so hard? I am sorry if you like this but all I can do is laugh and then my mom said it looks like something from Shrek! My friend Dave added to the humor and said it looked like a "throne"....as in the TOLIET! LOL. Oh boy....I need a simple, cute, white wood bassinet that is either white or green (no dark wood...no pink...no ruffles...no frill) Come on perfect thing...WHERE ARE YOU?????

Needing a Giggle?

Butt Paste! I could not stop laughing when I saw this. I am sure its a "great" product....but the name? Hysterical! "It goes on and cleans off easily. Treats and protects with a pleasant scent!" ha ha ha ha. I think we all need some BUTT PASTE :)

In the Clear.....

Oh thank goodness!!! I passed the test! No Gestational Diabetes for me! After I do my happy dance I'll be eating some chocolate for good measure! I was so happy to hear the news there may have been a few happy tears! My mom teased me "Prego Hormones" but really I was more nervous about it then I probably should have been. Its mostly because I know way too many people that have had it and have heard all the stories. The Dr did not think I had it and no one in my family has had it....but still I was nervous. I have enough food issues and was super worried about another. Plus I hate puking...ha ha ha ha! Gross Drink! Thanks to those who prayed for me! All good and hopefully smooth sailing from here...

G.D. Test

Gestational Diabetes (GD) test today. I am sooooo nervous. Not only for the fact they are drawing my blood (ick) but I so do not want to have it. Please Please Please be okay :) I have enough food issues...really not wanting to add one more. Dr thinks I will be okay but who knows.

***Update...That drink was GROSS! LOL. Had to hold in the puke seriously! Bad news...Must wait till wed to hear the results. Will be crossing everything till then as the second part of the test (should I fail) is even worse...No food PLUS icky drink! LOL

Just Pregnant

My cousin, Stacy, wrote me a few days ago checking in on how I was doing and the pregnancy. She said a lot of people either LOVE or HATE being prego...but for her she just WAS Pregnant. For whatever reason this just cracked me up! Its pretty much exactly how I feel. I am "just" pregnant. Nothing more...nothing less. Been trying not to complain and just trying to get through it all. In fact the newest joke is "I'm Done"....Yes...Done. It was fun while it lasted but Im good :) Now, this does not mean I am ready for Lily to be here. I think its just that I hear the last stretch is the hardest and I have been pretty much fine thus far. So I figure if I am done now than I survived with flying colors right? Wishful thinking. Dan said to me yesterday he is actually ready for Lily. Crazy Man! Im trying to enjoy these last 85 days of quiet! ha ha!

More New Goodies...

Going to visit "Grandma" means lots of fun goodies for baby Lily! This is the first granddaughter for my mom so she is pretty excited about getting girl things. She used to have tunnel vision for the boy section but now she is getting to play with girl clothes. Which I know are much easier to find cute things! Being a Holiday weekend I spent it in Reno with my family. This meant lots of Sales at the stores. Gap Baby was 44% off all sale prices! Awesome! So we may have ended up with more than needed...but who can help themselves! I had all the goodies laid out in Lily's room for Dan to see when he got home and he said it looks like a Cyclone hit....Well he might be right...



A bit scary even I admit. But dont worry all cleaned up and put away once Dan got to peek!

5 Year Olds...

Spending the day with 5 year olds is quite amusing. They are SO CUTE...and the things they say just cracks me up. Today I helped out in my friend Ali's kindergarden glass. I try to help once a week if I can and I really enjoy it. The kids call me "Miss Whitney" and are all smiles and hugs when I am there. Melts my heart and makes me want to go back! Today was hilarious. One girl says to me (while pointing at my big belly) "It looks like you have been eating a lot of food" giggle...giggle. She KNOWS I am prego...but this she thought was too funny :) Next she decides to paint me a photo. She explains that the photo is of ME and my BIG BELLY! LOL. What a cutie. And yes I laughed....The things kids say (and can get away with right?). I am looking forward to our little one being 5 and seeing what she says. And hoping Miss Ali gets to be her teacher! Doctor checkup

All went well yesterday at the Dr. Measuring 27in....And I am at 26 weeks so just a little head but she says its great. Weight on track...everything else is good. Quick and painless so far :) The only part that sucks now....is I have to start going every two weeks instead of once a month. AND...the next one is for the sugar test. We are praying I dont have diabetes. PRAYING. I have enough diet issues....lets not add any more right? Dr says I am not high risk for it but I guess you never know...I have been around lots of people who have had it and its not fun.

Not Loving...

Okay. I can take the kicking. Yes sometimes I dont like being beat up but its still tolerable. Now...the rolling across my tummy (or a spot on my tummy) is the creepiest...ickiest feeling. I am NOT digging it. Dan keeps saying I am sure you will get use to it. (thanks honey). But I am ready to go back to just the kicking. Am I the only one who does not like that feeling?

100 Days left?

Seriously? When you think 100 you think that its a lot. Till you put it on how long I have left before Miss Lily is here. Wow. Must get lots of sleep and enjoy all the peace and quiet I can in the next 100 days. What else should I do? Any thoughts? Must make use of each "quiet" day! LOL

A Gift in the Mail...

I came home last night and had a cute package awaiting me at my front door. It was a box all wrapped up in baby wrapping paper. Smiling as I walked in with it trying to figure out who would have sent me a gift? I am always better at the buying of gifts then I am at receiving them. Dont know why....but guess I dont think I deserve them or something? Who knows. Anyway after further investigation I found it from Deb...aka...Cali's Mom...aka...Mom as I call her :) (dont worry to MY mom..I still love ya...Deb's NAME is just MOM! LOL). I was in shock! Very unexpected and Very excited to open it! The cutest little girl package of goodies...hat, onesie, pants...and CUTE socks was inside. LOVE IT! Thank you so much Deb, Cali's Mom, Mom for sending! Dan and I love it and are very thankful for the beautiful gift! Cant wait for you to meet little Lily and fingers crossed she will be here on the perfect day of May 22!

Petunia Pickle Bottom

How can you not LOVE this line! I love it so much my Camera Bag is a Petunia Pickle Bottom Diaper Bag! Seriously! It works beautifully! Every time I see the new bags that come out I wonder how you chose? They have fun shapes, sizes and patterns that I think I will take one of each and just switch them out like purses. Sounds fun right? If only the price tags worked in my budget! LOL. Here is four sizes and prints I found on their website that I thought were adorable. The last one reminds me of a bowling bag! So fitting! And the first two are more purse size/style...which would be cute if you didnt need to haul an entire diaper bag. Either way...LOVE THEM ALL! Thought I would share...
