I know Lily is still kinda young for books but you can never start too early right? I have tried to read to her a few times and she has had zero interest. A couple of days ago I found this butterfly book at Pottery Barn Kids and decided to see if Lily was interested. Boy did I get the biggest smiles as I flipped through the pages. She LOVED it. I was excited at her reaction so I of course bought it and it is now her favorite book! She still gets HUGE smiles when we look at it. I think we may need to buy the Bird in the nest book next! In case you cant really tell from the photos. Your finger goes in the back of the book and wiggles the cute little butterfly. I think Lily likes butterflies like her mommy :)

At that young age, its mostly the sound of your voice...and colors and shapes come into play possibly also
